Classical Safari of Northern Tanzania
A classical safari of Northern Tanzania. During this safari you will visit Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and the famous Ngorongoro Crater. A journey that lasts 21 days ,you stay the night at campsites, hotels or bungalows. You will spend the last week on Zanzibar.
You will make an adventurous journey through the most beautiful wildlife parks of Africa. Lions, buffaloes, rhino's leopards and elephants, with a little luck you will get to see the ‘Big Five’! At night you will see Africa’s star-sprangled sky and while you are laying in your tent it’s great to listen to the different noises the wild animals make.
The journey will be completed by sailing to Zanzibar on a dhow where you can enjoy the richness of this tropical island.
As part of the journey you can chose to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m). If you chose to climb the Kilimanjaro you will do so after the safari. For more information see day-to-day description.
Visiting five National Parks of Northern Tanzania: Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Possibilities to make walking safaris in Arusha NP, Tarangire NP or at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater or to go canoeing in Lake Manyara or Arusha NP.
Meeting with the natives and different tribes; The Masai, the Iraqwe in Karatu or the gatherers and hunters tribe the Hadzabes and the Wadatoque in Lake Easy, meeting with the Swahili on Zanzibar.
Discovering Arusha, a vivid town with a huge market, visiting projects, cultural, music and dance events.
Visiting Marangu, a village at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is with an altitude of 5,895 meters the highest mountain of Africa. Possibility to make a one-day hike up to the first hut in Kilimanjaro NP or to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Zanzibar: wandering through the maze of alleys in Stone Town where you will picture yourself in ancient times with the smell of clover coming up from the harbor, visiting the market with plenty of fish, exotic fruits and spices, meeting the African, Arabic and Indian natives, warm and friendly people, always in for some small-talk. Zanzibar, one of the Spice Islands, with its romantic white, sandy beaches and breathtaking sea-green Ocean is the perfect place to relax before going home again.
